👦🏻Tojal Khadka, a 3-year-old from the Panchthar District in the Mechi Zone of Nepal, is our newest Leo’s Kid. He is an only child, and his dad works as the ward secretary of their village.
🎗️After Tojal started experiencing a fever, his parents took him to Kanti Children’s Hospital in Kathmandu for medical attention. Following an examination by his medical team, he was diagnosed with bone marrow cancer. Tojal underwent his initial surgery in August 2022 and was subsequently referred to Bhaktapur Cancer Hospital for further treatment.
🎗️Tojal has started his active treatment at Bhaktapur Cancer Hospital, and as of now, he has completed his fifth round of radiation and is currently undergoing his eleventh round of treatment. Despite his medical condition, Tojal maintains a healthy appetite and is able to consume all the food provided by his parents.
🏡Young Tojal is staying with his mom and dad in Marion room at Leo’s Kid Arlene Miskelly Flat, where he enjoys playing with toys.
