Meet our 100th newest Leo’s Kid, Samip Rai!
3 months ago, Samip had bruises on his abdomen. His parents took him to the Nobel Medical College Teaching Hospital in Biratnagar. This hospital told his parents that there was some problem with his blood and recommended that Samip’s parents take him to Kanti Children’s Hospital in Kathmandu.
4-year-old Samip was diagnosed with blood cancer in this hospital and referred them to Patan Hospital for further treatment. Samip is continuing with his active treatment at Patan Hospital.
Sweet Samip is from Ilam which is in the eastern part of Nepal. Samip and his family are staying in our Leo’s Kids P-Flats. Samip used to go to kindergarten and enjoyed his studies. Samip loved playing with his friends back home.
We deeply appreciate those of you who are able to partner with us financially to support these precious children and families either with a one-time donation or a monthly donation. This helps ensure our ability to provide ongoing support to these families in their time of crisis.
