Leo’s Kids thank all of you for support during lockdown
📝 This is a brief update for our Leo’s Kids in Kathmandu Valley in separate apartments.
🏥 Leo’s aunt Harimaya and cousin Samira, decided to pay a visit to a group of 5 of our Leo’s Kids living in apartments near Kanti Hospital to check up on them and see if they needed any other assistance.
👦 The children have been doing regular checkups at the hospital with no issues, however because of the lockdown, transportation has become a major obstacle for them. They have to walk about 20 minutes one way with their parents to the hospital. Most of the time their parents have to carry them because of low energy during treatment.
🏡 At home, our Leo’s Kids are enjoying their time playing with toys and video games, but Harimaya said they are especially thankful to have their mothers with them during this lockdown when they don’t have much interaction with anyone else.
🍱 Our families enjoy fresh groceries which are readily available during the hour window in the morning when people are allowed to go out.
🙏🏽 Our kids and families have expressed deep gratitude for Leo’s Foundation during this pandemic when they have critical levels of need during lockdown. They want all of you, Team Leo’s Kids, to know how much it means to them to have this level of support when it would difficult to survive otherwise.
🌸 We deeply appreciate those of you who are able to partner with us financially to support these precious children and families either with a one-time donation or a monthly donation. This helps ensure our ability to provide ongoing support to these families in their time of crisis.
