🔐 The Nepali government has extended the strict Covid lockdown until the end of May.
No vehicles are allowed to be on the road unless it is for emergency use and at specific times for 2 hours in the morning and 2 hours in the evening.
🧒 Our Leo’s Kids in the Flats right now are babies Surbina and Sahil, and our big kids are Ansu, Aali, Ram, Dilli Raj, Nawang, Sanjay, and Abisha.
🏡 It’s not a huge adjustment in their routines since they are allowed to travel to the hospital whenever they need to go. They normally stay at the Flats anyway since they’re trying to avoid infections from outside.
🛌 The only thing that they have changed in their routine is that everyone goes to bed early because there is no commotion outside to keep them awake.
🎈 As usual they spend most of their time resting, watching TV, hanging out together, and when they want to be alone they play games on their mobile phones.
🍱 We have stocked up on pantry items, but fresh greens, eggs, and other fresh meat and produce we still buy every day because so far there is no shortage of these food staples.
👋 Let’s cheer on our kids who are staying strong through the lockdown.
🌸 We deeply appreciate those of you who are able to partner with us financially to support these precious children and families either with a one-time donation or a monthly donation. This helps ensure our ability to provide ongoing support to these families in their time of crisis.
