🎉 Today, as we celebrate Leo’s 5th birthday, we are reflecting on the profound impact Team Leo’s Kids has made over the years in supporting Leo’s Kids battling cancer and their families in Nepal. These families, coming from rural villages, journey to Kathmandu seeking treatment for their children. However, arriving in an unfamiliar city presents them with the daunting task of urgently finding healthcare, accommodation for their family, food, and transportation, all while navigating a completely new environment with no familiar faces. Over the past four plus years, we’ve been privileged to serve 166 children, with 90 of them returning home to resume their lives, whether it’s continuing their education, pursuing careers, or eventually even starting their own families.
🌟 Now, we’re thrilled to embark on our latest endeavor – the establishment of our very own Leo’s Kids facility. With your generous and ongoing support, we aim to raise $150,000 by Leo’s birthday next year, February 18th, to create a dedicated haven for these brave children and their families. This facility will offer 14 to 18 bedrooms, 5 to 6 bathrooms, a spacious living area, a fully-equipped kitchen, a dining hall, and a playroom, providing them with the comfort and support they need during their treatment journey.
