Binisha improves despite limited treatment options

We introduced little Binisha to you back in February as our 33rd Leo’s Kid and one of the Leo’s Kids in our newest region outside Kathmandu valley in Bharatpur.

2-year-old Binisha has been going through treatment for liver and brain cancer. When Harimaya and Samira from our foundation flew out to meet our families there, Binisha was only 2 days into treatment for the first time. She was unable to stand anymore.

Now her dad tells us Binisha is able to once again stand up on her own. This is encouraging because doctors have decided not to do surgery because of the complexity of risks to Binisha. So she will just continue treatment to kill the cancer cells medically.
