👦🏻 Ajay Waiba, our 111th newest Leo’s Kid, is a 3-year-old from Kavre in the Central Development Region of Nepal. Ajay is the youngest of four siblings and comes from a farming family.
🎗 In August 2022, Ajay complained of stomach pain and his father felt a bump in his stomach. Ajay’s parents took him to the hospital at Kavre where they were advised to seek further treatment in Kathmandu. At Kanti Children’s Hospital in Kathmandu, Ajay was diagnosed with an intestinal tumor. He has been undergoing active treatment for the past month, and according to his father, he is eating well and feeling better.
💝 Ajay is currently staying at Leo’s Kid K-Flat with his parents, while his siblings are living with their uncle in the village so they can attend school. Ajay is an active child who enjoys playing with toys and drawing.
🌸 We deeply appreciate those of you who are able to partner with us financially to support these precious children and families either with a one-time donation or a monthly donation. This helps ensure our ability to provide ongoing support to these families in their time of crisis.
