A Significant Step: Kartik Makes the Journey Back for Maintenance Checkup
Kartik Yadav, our 136th Leo’s Kid, recently completed his active treatment and returned for a check-up with his mom.
During their visit, Kara had the privilege of chatting with Kartik and his mom, catching up on their progress and sharing in their joy of reaching this significant milestone following active treatment.
Kartik is here for the next few days, awaiting the results of his check-up. If all goes well, he will be heading home on Tuesday. It’s a journey of about 12 hours by bus, and Kartik has made this trip every 28 days for his treatments and will continue this schedule.
