Carrom and Camaraderie: Parents Bonding at Leo’s Kids Flats
When a child battles cancer, parents endure a heart-wrenching journey filled with trauma and stress, concerning their child’s health, finances, housing, food, and maintaining family togetherness.
To alleviate some of this strain, Leo’s Kids parents have formed a close-knit community that supports one another.
One of their daily activities, when they can find a moment, is to play Carrom board. For a few precious minutes, they set aside their worries and come together on the rooftop of Arlene Miskelly Memorial Flats to enjoy a spirited game. Witnessing these dads bond and support each other is truly heartwarming.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to you, Team LeosKids, for being an integral part of this incredible journey.
