👧🏻Our 134th Leo’s Kid, Liza Ghartimagar, is from Dang, Nepal. She is 5 years old and has one older sister.
🎗️A few months ago, Liza had a fall and broke her arm and leg. She was immediately taken to the local hospital, where a scan revealed a tumor in her stomach. Subsequently, she was referred to Kanti Children’s Hospital in Kathmandu, where she received a cancer diagnosis. Currently, she is undergoing treatment at Bhaktapur Cancer Hospital.
🏡Liza is currently staying at the Arlene Miskelly Memorial Flats in Sunayana Limbu’s room, along with her mom, aunt, and sister. Due to her broken arm and leg, she is unable to play with other children. However, she enjoys playing with dolls and watching TV in between her cancer treatment.
🙏🏽We are grateful beyond measure for those of you who have chosen to partner with us in our mission to support the precious children and families affected by cancer in Nepal. Your generosity through either a one-time or monthly donation is imperative to our ability to provide ongoing support during their time of crisis.
