We are saddened to inform you that our beloved Bishal has passed away on Thursday at 10:00 PM. A few weeks ago, he fell ill with a fever and vomiting and went to his home in Bhojpur for traditional rituals. However, two days before his passing, he was rushed back to the Bhaktapur Cancer Hospital.
Bishal, who was 16 years old, came to us in January of this year as our 116th Leo’s Kid. During his stay in B-Flat, he made connections with our other Leo’s Kids and spent his time studying for his SEE final examination when he was feeling well. Bishal, along with his family, fought against lymphoma cancer with the support of all of you. We have been so thankful for the opportunity to get to know Bishal and his family and for the support you all gave him and his family during his treatment.
We express our deepest sympathy and heartfelt condolences to Bishal’s parents as they remember their irreplaceable child. Bishal was a bright, compassionate individual – a wonderful son, a sweet brother to his siblings, and a loyal friend to our Leo’s Kids.
Dear Bishal, we pledge to honor your memory by providing other children like you with the opportunity to fight their cancer and have hope. We will carry your spirit with us as we continue our mission to support those in need.
