🥟 Our Leo’s Kids tell us often how much they love momo (steamed dumplings) and have convinced us to make momo parties a priority.
👨🏽🍳We have reserved a chef to specifically make momo for our Leo’s Kids and their families most Saturdays. This chef owns a restaurant nearby and we appreciate his willingness to help us make this possible.
🎉 Since we have two Leo’s Kids Flats buildings now (Bhaktapur Flats or B-Flats and Kathmandu/Kanti Flats or K-Flats) each building will get a momo party 2 Saturdays a month.
🥬 One of our priorities for our Leo’s Kids is providing access to fresh produce and real whole foods so all the momo are hand made from fresh ingredients.
🥟 Momo is a type of East and South Asian steamed filled dumpling and is native to Tibet and Nepal. It is popular across a wider region of the Indian subcontinent and certainly very popular among our Leo’s Kids in Nepal.
