🥇 Things are quiet and somewhat normal at the Leo’s Kids Flats for now. Sahil, Surbina, and Ansu are at the hospital for their treatment, but for our Leo’s Kids who enjoy playing carrom boards together, the championship is on.
♟ Sunil called today to check up on our Leo’s Kids in the flats and found out that 4 of our Leo’s Kids have become good friends staying at the Leo’s Kids Flats and have bonded playing carroms which is also helping them to relieve stress while going through their treatment.
👋 This carrom game is also helping them build companionship and fill their social and emotional needs. Our kids do better when they can do normal activities like playing together.
🏡 We never thought about it when we first got the idea for Leo’s Kids Flats, that it would actually be beneficial as a social environment for the kids, too. We had envisioned that parents would be supported by each other as a community but today it’s amazing to see how these kids are also getting their social, companionship, and emotional needs filled here at Leo’s Kids Flats.
😆 Seeing their joy, hearing their laughter, and learning of the bonds they’re forming together is all possible because of the support of you, our amazing Team Leo’s Kids.
🌸 We deeply appreciate those of you who are able to partner with us financially to support these precious children and families either with a one-time donation or a monthly donation. This helps ensure our ability to provide ongoing support to these families in their time of crisis.
