Our Leo’s Kids Flats Community is growing rapidly and because of the faithful generosity of Team Leo’s Kids we will be able to move from a 6 bedroom flat to a 12 bedroom building nearby. We will provide transportation from the building to the hospital and back again 3 times a day. This will afford our families more privacy, bigger common areas, and more bathrooms. These flats are the same price per family as the previous flats so we are grateful for affordable space.
We needed to upgrade a few things to accommodate more families such as buying bigger pots and pans and even a juicer to make nutritious juices without any added sugar for the community.
We also had a small 24″ TV for the families before, and for the new building we needed a bigger screen smart TV so they are able to enjoy it together while the children wait for their treatment.
A helpful woman has been hired to cook nutritious meals for our families 3 times per day and she helps clean and sanitize common areas.
Our families living in the flats are grateful to have clean and comfortable places to stay while their children receive treatment. Some of our other families have chosen to live in their own apartments since they are closer to the hospitals where their children are receiving treatment. We are keeping a close eye on them for anything they need.
Please let us know what you think of the improvements to our community’s living situation. We are always happy to receive helpful suggestions.
